What a treat it was to be back in Hill House again sharing my stories. I had such happy memories of my time there as a teacher and so to have the opportunity to be there sharing my books meant so, so much to me.
There were even siblings of some of the children I used to teach! The children really got into the actions, sounds and movements. We even tried some acting. The children and teachers really entered into the spirt of the books.
It was extra special reading Oscar the Italian Cat because there was a Hill House Student within the cheering crowds- fiction became reality for a bit- the best kind of escapism!
