It was quite a baptism of fire taking Oscar and friends to Glasgow. It took a lot of time and perseverance to get my stall looking just right but once it was all ship shape and ready for business, I had the most enjoyable few days meeting lots of lovely people and chatting about books!
To have a space that was totally geared up to Oscar and his friends was really exciting and helped to showcase what a lot of books and animals there are amongst his friends. Children flocked around, helped by a steady supply of cat shortbread biscuits. The choir kept the festive spirit going and, all too soon, it was time to pack up and go home again. I loved having the chance to chat with other stall holders and see first-hand all the incredible creative talent that Scotland has to offer! Thank you Glasgow, until next year!
