After two intense days at the Bologna Book Fair I was not sure I would have the stamina to manage a whole day of writing workshops but after entering the doors of Scuole Maestre I knew that any such fears were unfounded.
It was the most magical place full of lovely, and kind people and I felt quite at home. The gruelling six hours of teaching that was to come seemed to fly by because I really loved every second. A great way to improve my Italian and the children seemed genuinely engaged in the writing workshops I was giving which makes my life so much easier.
