Eddie the Duckling Book Launch

Fun in Aberdeen – 29th October

I had the nicest time scooting around Aberdeen.

I visited Rothienorman and Lathallan and what joy both sessions brought me.

Oscar, his pals and me felt very at home.

Thank you to lovely Lily all my new Aberdeenshire friends.

Tobermory Book Festival – 26th October

Always a highlight of my year and this year did not disappoint.

Celebrating the wonderful dragon book by acclaimed author Robin Scott Elliot, we had so much fun making dragon masks and getting gholish in preparation for Halloween!

Thank you Am Tobar and Tobermory Book Festival.

Counting down the days till next year!

Norwich Magic

I had a lovely time meeting children at Mile Cross Primary and sharing stories about the sea, a new world to so many which is part of the joy of what I do.

I then shared my poem at the open mic night for the Cafe Writers which meant a huge amount to me too.

A real journey in all senses of the word.

Irish Book Week- 21st to 23rd October

Magical time back in Dublin for Irish Book Week.

It was a non-stop action packed whirlwind of School visits but I loved every second.

A great treat to catch up with old Canterbury Teacher Training friends and pay homage to Molly Malone as well!

Second animation recording…!

It was so much fun having the chance to have children in for our second recording session. Thank you for the enthusiasm. May Oscar go from strength to strength…!

First Reading of the new School year

It was a great treat to be back starting the new school year off with a reading in Aberdeenshire at Woodlands Nursery. The children were so engaged, and I was so happy to be back sharing stories and adventures once more.

Farm Fun

It is always such a joy sharing stories on the farm. It makes me just so, so happy. This year did not disappoint. Even the shells came out for a bit of sparkle. What a jolly time we all had and I am so grateful for the opportunity to be part of it, as always.
