It meant the world to me. Julia and her sister are the fourth generation to run their family bookshop and do it so beautifully. They had shown Oscar off in all his glory. The talk was well organised, we even had headphone speakers.
Lots of children came which was really exciting because there were lots of other events on at the same time. We ate biscuits, chatted about books and acted too. The books were shared in Catalan and English and were really enjoyed which made me just so happy to see.
Thank you, Llibreria Arola, for the opportunity to share my books in Catalan. It would be amazing if it led to Oscar the Ferry Cat being distributed more widely in Spain.
I believe it has so much to offer children learning English or who speak foreign languages.
